Town Hall

The beautiful Lakewood Ranch Town Hall is situated overlooking serene Lake Uihlein and adjacent to the vibrant activity at Lakewood Main Street. Town Hall has become the center of all resident-related activities within the Ranch, housing staff for the District Maintenance office, Community Services, and Community Activities. Residents visit Town Hall for a myriad of reasons including governance meetings, social clubs and gatherings, changes and modifications to their homes, traffic transponders and area information. Lakewood Ranch Town Hall was specifically designed with resident's needs in mind. There is a large meeting room with that can be divided into three smaller meeting spaces as well as a Kitchen, Board Room and a multi-purpose Activity Room. Any Lakewood Ranch governance group, committee, or social club can meet in any of these facilities. Residents (as well as non-residents and outside groups) can reserve available rooms for private functions throughout the year.


Community Events

Each year, the Community Activities Manager plans a number of entertaining events for the enjoyment and camaraderie of the residents in Lakewood Ranch neighborhoods. Some activities have been so popular that they have become annual events such as the Easter Eggstravaganza, the Ice Cream Social, and the Holiday Dinner Dance. Activities are offered for all age groups and interests throughout the year. In the past years there have been Music Fests, Fashion Shows, Casino Nights, Mystery Dinners, Holiday gatherings and Health Expos. There are always fun things happening around the Ranch providing a great way to socialize and meet new neighbors and friends.

Lakewood Ranch Clubs

Lakewood Ranch residents are active people with many talents, interests, and hobbies. There are currently more than 80 active clubs within Lakewood Ranch that reflect the diversity of interests and causes through which to socialize and gather. Club membership in one or several of the Lakewood Ranch clubs is the ideal opportunity to meet, share, and enjoy the company of other people with similar interests in informal social settings.

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center

Lakewood Ranch is committed to providing residents with on-site access to the finest medical facilities and professionals. Their 30-acre Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, developed by Universal Health Services and Lakewood Ranch Memorial Hospital, provides families with a wide range of medical services. Central to the medical complex is the Medical Center, a 120-bed acute-care hospital, complete with Emergency Care, Outpatient Services and a Women's Center, including birthing center. Adjacent to the hospital is a 60,000 square-foot medical office building, which houses physician offices as well as diagnostic and laboratory facilities. Physicians maintaining practices in the medical building include obstetricians, doctors of internal medicine, cardiologists, and a number of other specialists.
